As the January winter transfer window progresses, European clubsides are still very much in the business of making acquisitions to bolster their squads and secure the set targets mapped out for the season.
Generally, a sizeable number of clubs do not fancy the winter transfer window in January because players of good quality are rarely available at this time. Furthermore, players who do become available are significantly expensive and there are no guarantees that these players when bought, would become successful in their new environment.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t prevent clubs from splashing the cash if there is a good player available on the market and if that player would significantly improve the squad quality at the club.
Below, we shall explore the 2021/2022 winter transfer window and reveal the deals done by some of clubs especially in the Premier League. Plus, we shall take a peek into transfer rumours making the rounds.
