As it stands, Manchester United remain seventh on the log – seven points behind the Champions League places. Newcastle United on the other hand, remain second from bottom but are only two points off safety.

It must be said that Manchester United were lucky to eke out a point against Newcastle United. They surely have their goalkeeper David de Gea to thank, as his vital saves kept the Red Devils in the match.
